Following their debut album MYOSOTIS (German: "Forget-me-not", 2022) comes KOSMEE – an ornamental flower whose name is derived from the Greek word "Cosmos". The five musicians wander through this very cosmos with effortless ease.

The pieces are miniatures that together form a unified whole: a "bouquet of melodies" that combines diverse rhythmic concepts and complex harmonies with free improvisation. Melancholic in their underlying sound, they explore feelings such as disappointment, hurt, guilt, and atonement. For example, the single "Clytia" makes audible the metamorphosis of the eponymous figure from Greek mythology: Apollo, the driver of the sun chariot, does not reciprocate her love. Filled with pain, Clytia's body slowly transforms from that of a woman into that of a sunflower.
KOSMEE creates its own sound from a wide variety of influences, allowing Philip Weyand's musical cosmos to grow further.
